Poem Competition

I felt my heart beeping before saying my poem to the class because I was so excited to share to the class. I felt good after saying my poem to the class because this is my first time saying my Poem to the class. I think I did an awesome job at reciting my poem because I was loud and I had a clear voice, I was not nervous.

Art

My favourite step of doing this artwork was when we painted it and looked outside for trees that did not have leaves in it. I love my artwork because art is fun and makes your body and bones good too.

Persuasive Writing

 

We are leaning to write a persuasive piece of writing to try and convince the reader our opinion. I can come up with reasons why you should buy this broken toy. It was easy to come up with reasons because I was concentrating on what I was doing. 

Nga Tae

We are learing to communicate about physical characteristics in Te Reo Maori. I can identify some Maori colours. I enjoyed leaning about Maori colours beucuse Maori is my favourite activity to play and have fun.

Narrative Writing

I was learning to describe the setting. I can use descriptive words to describe the setting. It was easy because the photo was a big place with beautiful lovely stuff.

Instruction Writing

I was learning to write instructions. I can write my instructions in the right order. I  can use variety of  verbs in my instructions. I like my monster soup recipe because it is funny and yuck.

Feelings Art

This term we have been leaning all about emotions. We watched the movie Inside out. We did some artwork about feeling and the characters from the movie. I love my artwork because it's so fun to feel happy.

Sea Week Art

I was learning to blend colours using paint. My favourite part of doing this  art work was when I was blending. I love this artwork because it is beautiful.

Swimming

My favourite part of our swimming lesson is learning to do flips. I find it tricky to swim properly. I love swimming because it is part of my learning.
